Fancy Friday - True Gentlemen Inspired

Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
My fancy friends and I are back together again!!! We loved working with each other so much that we decided to continue on with a blog hop to inspire you in fun new ways each month! These are a group of past and current Stamping' UP Artisans that have become fast friends thru the amazing Artisan journey. Glad to have you here! We have 11 of us (some fresh NEW faces too) this month so don't miss a one!

Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds! (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc) This month's challenge is INSPIRED by the True Gentleman Suite on page 44-45 in Occasions available now thru May 31st. We could use the suite products OR just the color combo of Crumb Cake, Tranquil Tide, Night of Navy, and Very Vanilla with any another stamp set. We could make it Father’s Day, birthday, congrats or thank you but keep it masculine looking which means NO flowers of course!
I decided to use the Waterfront Stamp set....finally! What a great set! After seeing the recent Artisan Design Team blog hop, I was inspired and in awe of what they did with it. I also saw a gorgeous mountain photograph recently and wanted to use the same colors I saw in the photo. Some of these colors are brand new Stampin' Up colors that are available on June 1st when the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog comes out. The color combo is Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Tranquil Tide, Night of Navy and Crushed Curry.

This last card I made the same with out cutting it with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I added the large greeting from a retired stamp set called Stremgth and Prayers. I will be giving this card to my Pastor and his family in Georgia. They have taken a call to St Paul's Lutheran church in Missouri and leave Timothy Lutheran in June.
Change is happening all around but it is all GOOD change.

Thanks for stopping by my post for the Fancy Friday blog hop!

Crafty Carrot Co Blog Hop with Picture Perfect Birthday

Hello friends and welcome to The Crafty Carrot Collective Blog Hop! We are a selection of group of Stampin' UP! demonstrators and Artisans from all over the world that got together to form this interactive program where you can learn and participate with us each month! Surely you have heard about us by now!?
Let us get right to this month's Crafty Carrot Co blog hop where we share some projects featuring the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp set for our June 2018 interactive rewards program. We are also using the 2018-2020 In-Colors which are Lovely Lipstick, Call Me Clover, Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove and Blueberry Bushel. Right now you can purchase all of them before the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog comes out! But wait there is more next month.....
a BONUS tutorial from 2018 Stampin' UP Artisan Emma Goddard from the UK! Be sure to hop along to see her sneak peak! IT IS AMAZING!
I need quick and easy birthday cards and this stamp set is "perfect" for them! But the in-colors are EXTRA bright together so I wanted to make them a little less bright.
I created a wash of the 3 colors, Grapefruit Grove, Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushel on Shimmery White Cardstock first. To get the cardstock wet, I spritzed with water in my Stampin Spritzer and then added ink color with my Aqua Painter.
To get the lighter tones in the candles, just stamp off the block candle image and then stamp. I ran the piece thru my Big Shot with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and trimmed off the sides of the square shape.
Super simple and you can knock several of these out in no time!

You really can created an assortment of cards with these fun and bright In-Colors!
